No. A layer may be switched off, visible only at certain zoom levels, unavailable or incomplete. An empty result does not prove that a restriction, feature or right is absent. Check the original source and the relevant authority.

They are indicative. Map scale, source geometry, terrain resolution and browser calculations affect the result. A map boundary does not establish a boundary on the ground, and a calculated area or sunlight estimate is not a survey or a site assessment.
Use the map’s sharing control to copy a link and the property’s print control to create a Tonttikortti. Keep source credits and limitations with anything you share. Source datasets retain their own licences; the service copyright does not replace them.

These terms govern access to Tonttikartta and its map services. You may browse the service for your own personal or professional information needs, share map links and use its printing function, retaining source credits and limitations. Other uses require the permissions described below.
Without OPL Consulting Oy’s prior written consent, you must not bulk download, scrape or systematically collect content from Tonttikartta, whether automatically or manually. You must not use the service, its endpoints, map tiles or outputs as a backend, data feed, embedded map or other component of another service, or reproduce a substantial part of it. This applies to commercial and non-commercial services. Ordinary sharing of a map link is allowed. General web search engines may crawl and index the public pages as robots.txt allows. As an exception, the documented public API — GET /api/v1/lookup, described at tonttikartta.fi/api/v1/docs — may be queried automatically, including by AI assistants, to answer individual requests within its published request and response limits and these terms, keeping source credits, at least the short disclaimer, and the caveats that apply to the facts shared with the information. Single property pages under tonttikartta.fi/kiinteisto/ may be read automatically on the same terms, one property per request. That permission covers individual lookups and individual property pages only: bulk or systematic enumeration, storing responses or pages as a dataset or property index of your own, and use of any other endpoint, map tile or page still require the consent described above. Do not bypass access controls or rate limits, disrupt the service, impose unreasonable load or use it unlawfully. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risks or service stability.
OPL Consulting Oy retains its rights in the Tonttikartta service and proprietary Maasto engine. Third-party software and datasets retain their own rights and licences. These terms govern use of our service; they do not revoke rights granted by open-data licences or restrict obtaining public datasets directly from their providers under the providers’ terms.
Tonttikartta is based on public sources; it is not an official registry, survey, valuation or authority decision. Original content is the responsibility of its provider; we do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness or currency. Boundaries, measurements and estimates are indicative. Verify consequential facts with the original registry and relevant authority. We investigate demonstrable mismatches in our processing or presentation when supplied with a verifiable source; changes to an original register belong to its provider.
We do not promise uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, OPL Consulting Oy is not liable for losses caused by reliance on original-source errors or service interruptions. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
Linked services have their own terms and privacy practices. Cookie choices are explained separately under Cookies and privacy. Features may change during beta; property listings are planned without a timetable and would have separate publishing terms. We will publish updated terms with a version date and give advance notice of material changes affecting use. Finnish law applies, without limiting mandatory protections applicable to consumers. On the hosted site, maasto-session protects service access and rate limits (up to 24 hours), and maasto-version-key keeps a consistent release during a rollout (up to 7 days). If our hosting infrastructure runs an automated security check on your visit, it may also set a short-lived cookie to confirm the check has passed. Your selected language, layers and map preferences are stored on this device until you change them or clear site data.
On its own server the service keeps two aggregate counts: how many times a session cookie has been issued, and how many times a property card’s information has been served. Each is a count plus the kind of page it came from, the language it was served in and whether the card came from cache — no IP address, no browser identification, no session token, no property identifier and no coordinates. Nothing is stored in or read from your browser for them, they are kept for three months, and they are counted the same way whatever advertising choice was made.
Anonymous aggregate usage counts do not depend on your advertising choice. Earlier optional measurement choices saved on this device do not authorize advertising or Google Analytics. Use Advertising privacy choices to review or change Google’s advertising settings.
Google AdSense provides advertising on this site. We disable ad personalization with Google’s publisher privacy treatment. Without optional cookie consent, Google may serve eligible limited ads; with the required consent it may serve non-personalized ads using cookies for functions such as frequency capping and reporting. Google and its advertising partners may process IP addresses to deliver ads and use fraud-prevention storage. The privacy choices explain the purposes and partners and let you review, decline or change optional permissions. You can use the map without opening or accepting the consent dialog.
We count request deliveries on our servers to understand general usage: map and address pages, directories, information pages, lookups, searches and property cards, grouped by day, category and response status. These counts include repeat requests and crawlers; they are not unique visitor counts. The aggregate dataset contains no IP addresses, browser identifiers, cookies, addresses, search terms, property identifiers or coordinates and is retained for three months. No analytics cookies or visitor identifiers are created for it. Google Analytics is disabled on this site.
When you select a property, our server sends its location to Google to check Street View coverage. The viewer loads from Google only when you open its section in the property card. Google then receives your IP address, the requested location and this site's origin, and processes the visit under its own privacy policy. Closing the section removes the viewer. Google Maps, OpenStreetMap and Karttapaikka links open their respective services only when followed.
